2 Years old!

Today is McKenzie's birthday. I really cannot believe that she's already two! It really has gone by so fast! She is such a big girl and I love her so very much! Kenzie has a lot of energy and loves to get into trouble. She's very mischievous and gets into everything. Which is exactly like I was... UH-OH, It's the curse!!! ;) She really is such a joy to have in our lives. She's also so loving a caring. She'll stop everything she's doing to say "love you" and to give you a hug. She loves all the Toy Story movies, loves to color, throw balls, dress up, she loves to help daddy whenever he brings out his tools or works on the car, and she loves her Grandparents very much. She is such a big helper and loves to help anyone who asks. I feel bad that she only has one working arm right now, so it's going to be a little tough to open her presents, but she's really smart and she'll figure something out to make it work. Mommy and Daddy love you so very much Kenzie. We are truly blessed to be your parents.

Baby Kenzie just hours after she was borne. Awww love the pic with her and Greg.
 Kenzie and Mommy
I love this little smile... She knows I want a good picture and she's planning on ways to ruin a good picture...
Needless to say her plan worked cause this was about the 6th picture out of maybe 10 and it's still blurry. Silly girl

Broken.

Friday night was my family Christmas party. It was at a church on 12600 and Red Wood road. Aliesha and Kenzie were having so much fun with all their cousins. All of the kids went up on the stage and they were playing with each other. Someone closed the curtains so I walked up to the stage with my sister and was playing with Kenzie under the curtain. I turned around and next thing you know Kenzie went right off the edge. She fell on her right side head/Shoulder first. My sister picked her up and gave her to me I instantly went to my Aunt who is a nurse and she was looking at her eyes and feeling for bumps or signs of head trauma. Greg then took her into the kitchen I gave her some Tylenol. As Greg was holding her we noticed she really wasn't moving her right arm. So we carefully took her shirt off to see if her shoulder was dislocated. Then we wanted to see if there was any bruising or swelling on her arm. She kept saying Owie Owie and grabbing her shoulder. So we decided it was best to go to the hospital. As we were about to leave someone asked if we wanted to give her a blessing we said yes. Greg didn't have any oil, my dad's oil key chain thing leaked out all his oil. and no one else had any oil. Well jeez we are in an LDS Church, you would think they'd have some. lol. So off we went to the Riverton Hospital with no blessing a hurt baby, and shaken up parents. This is our first big traumatic fall/injury that has happened to one of our kids. We go to the hospital and the doctors were very helpful and fast. As we were waiting My brother-in-law and Uncle came in with oil and gave her a blessing. Right after that the doctor came. We checked her vitals, all were fine. Then we went into a room waited about one min and the doc. came in and was looking at her head some more. Everything checked out fine. Then she checked her shoulder and every time we would touch it she would cry and say owie. So they sent us to get X-Rays. Two X-Rays of her shoulder, and two of her ribs (We took rib X-Rays cause as we laid her on the table she kept reaching to her back and saying Owie, so we just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong there too.) We went back to the room where the doctor told us that she has a broken Clavicle. Since they can't cast her arm it has to be in a sling and wrapped close to her body with an ace bandage.

So this isn't her actual X-Ray, but this is almost exactly what hers looked like. The bone that is circled is a clavicle. It's supposed to be straight.

I feel so horrible! I was standing right there playing with her and I turned away for one second and this happens! I wish I could have been responsible and just not have even let them play up on the stage. It's one of those moments you wish you could rewind and do over. I feel so guilty. :( My poor baby is hurt and I wish I could take her pain away from her.

Even though she's hurt and has a broken bone she's still happy and still wants to run around and play. The bad part is is her right arm is her dominate arm so she's not used to using her Left hand as much.

I love my baby girl and I hope she will never have to go through this pain again!
She has to wear the sling for 4-6 weeks.

Kenzie's first broken bone. December 9, 2011 (One week away from her 2nd birthday)
Hope she can open presents with one hand.

Party Rock is in the House Tonight!!!

It's now a tradition in my house to jam out to awesome songs have fun, go wild, and laugh. We do this almost every night 30 min before the girls go to bed. They love it! Every night they always ask to do crazy dancing. It is absolutely entertaining to watch Aliesha and McKenzie dance around. I know it's such a weird tradition, but I love dance and  I want to instill that into them.  I often turn to music and dance to relieve stress. The Girls love it when we take time to dance with one another. I would love to share some of the memories we have together...

*WARNING*
The sound may be loud, and girls may be goin' crazy!
p.s. I'm sorry to inform you I will not be in any of these video's
I know I know, You were hopping, but I thought I'd leave my dancing skill's to your imagination. ;)

Sorry about the lighting in the first two video's the lighting in our house sucks at night!
The first video Aliesha was showing us how fast she can spin!
That girl loves to spin! She just goes and goes and I swear she doesn't
gets dizzy!
Liesh loves this next song because it's Grandpa Earl's favorite. (Music is quiet, but Aliesha is loud)

Party rock Anthem... One of our favorites to dance to!

So there's a sample! Can ya see how entertaining it is! We look forward to nights now so we can do our crazy dancing! Plus it really tires them out and they go to bed fast!
The last one (Party rock Anthem) Gets really crazy further in the song, and later in the night!

Stuck...

I'm stuck in a situation I've never thought I'd ever be in. HELP! What would you do if Doing the right thing was something you absolutely hated? Yep I know what is right, but I don't like it so I don't want to. And I'm not the only one feeling like this as well, Greg's right there with me. I know there's not much detail to this post so it'll be hard to answer my question, but I'm hoping someone will have something to say that will help us.
