Tuesday day I was watching my two nephews and someone knocked on the door. It was my neighbor asking if I could watch her little girl Thursday,Friday, and Monday from 8-4. At first I was like Aww man! I already have to watch my two girls ages 3 and 1 then my nephews ages 2 and 6 months! I so didn't want to take on an 8 month old! But I felt bad cause she really needed the help so I said I would watch her. So Thursday came and I was prepping myself to watch 5 kids all under the age of 3! I was thinking to myself after this day I'll need some ''Shop-therapy. :) My sister called and said that she wasn't going to have me watch her youngest cause he's sick. So now I was back down to 4 kids. Still I was nervous cause I never talk to this lady, I've seen her at church and her kids are in primary, but I don't know anything about her or her kids. So she came dropped off her girl, my sister came dropped of her oldest and my day started. All in all not that bad of a day, towards the end the little girl was getting fussy, and every time I'd leave the room she'd really start screaming. Greg came home early and really helped, he held her and we played with her. Then her mom came and took her home.
Having four kids is really hard! I'm happy with my two I don't ever think I'd do 4 of my own. One things for sure, babysitting is really good birth control!
We went to my parents house to borrow their garage so Greg could change the oil in the car. While at my parents house I was talking to my mom in the kitchen and Aliesha and McKenzie were in the front room playing with toys. All of a sudden I hear Kenzie start screaming and crying I turn the corner and she's at the top of the stairs running towards the bedroom, and when I say running she was going as fast as her little legs could go. I was really confused as to why she would be doing this. I thought she was hurt but this was a scream and cry of pure terror! I then look and see my moms cat running around trying to get away from Kenz cause Kenzies cries of horror scared the cat. I came to the conclusion that she must be scared of the cat. Well I picked her up soothed her and then she was on her way, back to playing with toys. About 30 min later I hear the same scream of terror. and I walk around the wall and there is Kenz face to face with the cat just screaming and trying to run!!! I couldn't help but laugh. My little girl is terrified of cats!!!!!!! I took her down to go look at the cat, and to possibly pet the cat. She tensed up in my arms but didn't scream so I had her touch the cat, thinking that looking at it touching it would help her fear. She was fine, a little tense, but no crying. I thought problem solved. So I went up stairs with her. When it was time to go I was telling my dad about Kenz and the cat and every time I said cat she'd get really tense look around and walk away from the stairs. So-o funny! Then we came home put McKenzie to bed and watched Monsters Inc. with Aliesha. When that was done I got Aliesha ready for bed and noticed that Kenz had two blankets wrapped around her head and face, she does this all the time, scares the crap outta me! So I gently unwrapped her head put one blanket over her and walked out. Now came the time for some well needed relaxation time. After that I went upstairs to get ready for bed, but I wanted to check on Kenz one more time just to make sure she wasn't all wrapped up again. So I went into the bedroom noticed once again the blanket was over her face. So once again I gently unwrapped her head. I was in the processes of putting the blanket over her little body when all of a sudden Kenz ripped a huge one It was loud, it scared me to death! She then jumped at the sound, rolled over looked at me and said "'scuse you!" Rolled back over and went right back to sleep! I laughed so freakin' hard! It was hilarious!
Things like that remind me of why I love my girls to death!!! They always find a way to really make me laugh and make me love them more each day! Aliesha I swear is a much better mom than I ever will be. She tells me when Kenz, Zach, or Elijah has a dirty diaper, she'll get all the diapers/wipes ready for me. She helps me clean up the house and keep things in order. She's always willing to help me out whenever I need the help! Sometimes I forget she's 3 cause she seems so much older. I'm so proud of both my little ones.
I always wonder why Heavenly Father puts people in your life, what people need to teach you, why you need a best friend, and why we need kids. When I was pregnant with Aliesha I always wondered why me! I don't like kids I've never wanted to have kids etc. Now I know that I needed Aliesha and McKenzie. They are who I need in my life to teach me and to help me love. Every day they do something to reassure me that I truly need them! I love my girls so very much and I'm truly grateful for them!
Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.

The Tale...
Okay I am going to share our story,
Greg and I met in August, 2005. My Junior year and his Senior. We met in stage crew class. He had just transferred from Copper Hills to Kearns High, that's a different story. We started out as friends, of course I was wishing different! We would always hang out during class, but when lunch came around we went our separate ways, but for some reason Greg would always wander over to my locker where I'd sit with my group of friends, where he'd just pass by. Not kidding you he'd pass by 4-5 times during lunch. Well you know me, shy, self conscious, and stubborn, didn't think he was doing this to see me I just thought he walked a lot, but my friends kept insisting that I invite him to sit. One day I got up the nerve to actually ask, SO unlike me! But guess what he sat, and from then on we'd walk from stage crew to lunch, just as friends. On another day I mustered up the nerve to somehow give him my number and address and make him come pick me up. So me being as Conniving as I am I walked up to him and said that our stage crew teacher needed me at the play tonight to help, (I knew Greg was working that play that night). I said that I didn't have a car to drive, so I gave him my number and address and told him to call before he came to make sure it was alright with my parents. He called and then came to pick me up for the night. We'd been friends for a while before we realized that both of us liked each other. We told each other how we felt, but never really made it official. I wanted him to actually ask me to my face, but he never did! But one day someone asked what the status was and then we finally decided that we were to be together. Greg said "I love you" to me first it took me a few months to say it, though I knew I did. Greg graduated and worked two jobs, I finished my senior year. Then September 15, 2007 Greg and I got married. Unfourtently we weren't eternally bonded until March 28, 2009. On November 23, 2007 we had our beautiful little Aliesha! To say I was scared was an understatement! But I absolutely love change, I invite change whenever it approaches. Greg and I were sealed to Aliesha March 28, 2009 and on that same day we found out we were pregnant with our second baby, McKenzie, who was born December 17, 2009. I love our story. It is one of romance, struggle, change, love, and conquer. So this is my tale. And I will write many more to come as our family takes on new adventures every day!
